At just 20 years old, Kimi Antonelli becomes the youngest Formula 1 World Champion in history, breaking Sebastian Vettel’s 16-year-old record and marking the arrival of a new era in motorsport.
GENERATION 12 celebrates this historic achievement through a graphic interpretation of the Mercedes-AMG W17 E and the young Italian driver.
The artwork deconstructs the car, helmet and racing elements into a dynamic composition of geometric shapes, bold diagonals and overlapping forms. Speed, movement and colour become the building blocks of an image that moves beyond traditional automotive illustration.
The edition number brings together three elements connected to Antonelli’s story: 12 is his racing number, 20 represents his age when he became World Champion, and 36 represents the total number of different Formula 1 World Champions, including Antonelli.
