The story of this print.
“THE HARDEST RACE OF MY CAREER!”
When Jaguar took part in the 24 Hours of Daytona in January 1988 it was far from imagining that it would be one of the favorite teams to win this glorious American race.
The historical british team that participated with 3 cars on the Florida track, had not even existed 4 months earlier. However, this new TWR team managed a surprise victory with drivers Martin Brundle, John Nielsen, and Raul Boesel. A unique and intense race that steamrolled the mighty Porsche.
Martin Brundle even described the victory at Daytona as “the hardest race of my career.”
It is in this adrenaline and stress-charged environment that the Jaguar XJR-9 becomes an icon of endurance motorsport and a graphic reference to share in a Print.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I loved making it!
