The story of this print.
The F1 winner that frightened the Circus.

Few cars in Formula 1 history have had such an immediate impact, and sparked as many conversations as the famous Brabham ‘fan car’ that won on its debut at the Swedish Grand Prix in 1978.

A season dominated by the Lotus 79, which introduced the world to the ‘solo effect’ and led to championship glory for Mario Andretti.
However, another machine won the hearts of F1 fans that year - the Brabham BT46B, or the ‘fan car’ as it is more affectionately known.

A unique machine created by one of the world’s most iconic designers. The huge Gordon Murray that I like so much.

The BT46B “fan car” still holds a mythical status in F1 and is the only participant with a 100 percent winning record. I wonder what might have happened if Brabham could have continued to use the car.
Enjoy the Brabham BT46 “Fan Car” Alfa Romeo!
