BMW M3 Sport Evo, Franz Engstler, DTM 1992
One of DTM’s most distinctive liveries
A limited edition of 400 signed and numbered prints
Among the many liveries of the DTM golden era, the bright green Tic Tac design stands out instantly. Applied to the BMW M3 Sport Evolution driven by Franz Engstler during the 1992 season, its bold green-and-white colours gave the car a unique and unmistakable presence on track.
By 1992, the BMW M3 E30 had already established itself as one of the most successful touring cars ever built. Developed with motorsport in mind from the outset, it combined precise chassis balance with BMW’s high-revving S14 four-cylinder engine. The Sport Evolution version marked the final and most extreme development of the E30 generation, featuring a larger 2.5-litre engine and further aerodynamic refinements.
This artwork captures that identity — combining the aggressive stance of the M3 Sport Evo with the bold graphic impact of its Tic Tac livery. A perfect balance between engineering precision and striking visual design, making it one of the most memorable cars of the 1992 DTM grid.
